MANILA–A low pressure area was spotted 300 km east of Basco, Batanes, embedded along the frontal system affecting northern Luzon, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday.
Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and central Luzon will continue to experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will also continue to prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds will blow from southeast will over Visayas and Mindanao, and from south to southwest over the rest of the archipelago.
The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA said.
