With four victories, Indonesia lead the championship standings with eight points and are followed by the Philippines (host), Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Singapore.

The massive victory against Vietnam has not surprised Indonesian coach Widayat Wahyu Jati, who was confident of a superb show by his team.
