MANILA – A new 24/7 hotline number has been established by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) to address passenger complaints at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminals.

The hotline number ‘877-1111’ was launched last Monday (Aug. 1) to address complaints ranging from rude airport personnel to overcharging cabdrivers, MIAA Media Affairs Office-in-Charge Feliciana Santos said on Thursday.

The hotline is being managed by the MIAA Customer Relations Center located at NAIA Terminal 1.

This hotline number is not to be confused with the MIAA’s trunk-line number ‘877-1109’, which can be contacted for concerns involving offices within the MIAA.

The trunk line is being manned by about 14 operators at the MIAA’s Electronics and Communications Division.

Santos said that signages have been displayed at the NAIA terminals to inform passengers of the new hotline. To date, it has received only a few calls, most of which were dropped.

Passengers may also text their complaints via TXT NAIA 09178396242.
