MANILA – High-profile inmates at the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in Muntinlupa City have expressed their apprehension over the alleged conspiracy to kill incoming President Rodrigo Duterte and incoming Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald dela Rosa.

The apprehension was expressed by the 16 inmates detained at Building 14, through their signed manifesto sent to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Emmanuel L. Caparas.

According to the inmates, they are apprehensive that the said information was floated to condition the mind of the public if ever they will be “silenced” by corrupt NBP officials.

Once they are silenced, the alleged prevailing corruption at the NBP will also be forgotten.

Likewise, they also belied allegation that they contributed among themselves to collect Php 10 million to be used as bribe to kill Duterte and dela Rosa.

They also urged Duterte to send an emissary to the NBP to investigate and to ferret out the truth that they had nothing to do in the reported conspiracy.
