MANILA — Senator Antonio Trillanes on Sunday said that he would reveal a new expose and new witness involving Vice President Jejomar Binay on Thrusday.
Trillanes said in an interview with dzIQ Radyo Inquirer that he will reveal new issues against Binay on the resumption of hearings into the corruption allegations raised against him.
The committee has so far conducted 23 hearings on Binay’s case and has earlier recommended to charge Binay with plunder.
“This is a new issue that we discovered now that acting (Makati City) Mayor Kid Peña is sitting (in city hall),” he said.
The senator, however, was hesitant to give details of the expose, which will be uncovered in the hearings of the Senate blue ribbon subcommittee on Thursday.
“I have not come out with this issue yet,” Trillanes said.
