ST.JOHN’S, N.L. – Memorial University says it has tested the drinking water in 38 of the 55 buildings on its St. John’s campus and the results are within the Canadian drinking water guidelines.

The campus closed Friday after water tests indicated high concentrations of lead.

The school re-opened after making bottled water available and adding filtration systems to water fountains in some of the buildings.

Memorial says more testing is underway.
