MANILA — Vice President Jejomar ‘Jojo’ Binay visited three public markets in the province of Rizal, but denies he’s already campaigning for the 2016 presidential polls.
Binay visited the public markets in San Mateo and Rodriguez, as well as the town of Cogeo in Antipolo. He shook hands, posed for photos, and gave shirts with his tag line “Kay Binay, gaganda ang buhay.” (“With Binay, life will be better.)
The Vice President distributed free wheelchairs, fans, and shirts to the locals. He even delivered a speech in Cogeo about the things that he would like to do for the public.
In Cogeo, he pointed out that he won 35,000 votes in 2010. Today, with Antipolo’s growing population, he expects to receive as many as 50,000 votes next year. This is despite his comparison of himself and the Liberal Party as a “David and Goliath” situation.
He thanked the people in advance for their support.
Binay claims that his visits were all a part of his role as Vice President of the Philippines.
