MANILA – Multi-billion pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles is now facing two more witnesses presented by the prosecution panel.

The witnesses are lawyer Myra Mallari from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Marissa Santos, chief administrative officer of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) central records division.

Mallari has testified against Napoles’ company, JLN Corp. Santos, on the other hand, has testified that she is holding pork barrel funds owned by Napoles. She has also linked Masbate representative and now governor Rizalina Seachon-Lañete to the multi-billion scam.

Lañete is facing charges of plunder and graft for her P108 million pork barrel funds.  She has, however, pleaded not guilty.

Meanwhile, Napoles’ 25-year-old daughter, Jeane Catherine Napoles is issued with a warrant of arrest due to tax evasion charges filed against her.

The younger Napoles has failed to show up in her scheduled arraignment at court last April 29. She finally showed up yesterday, bringing along her own security guards.
