Jody Albright, a Manny Pacquiao fan who is battling with liver cancer, traveled for more than 30 hours from Tennessee to Los Angeles just to get a glimpse of the eight-division world champion boxer.

Albright was not only able to see Pacquiao in training, he was also able to meet and chat with the champion boxer. Pacquiao took time off from training and made time for him.

“Only God can heal our sickness. He is the center of everything, the giver of life. He can restore our life,” Pacquiao said to Albright, encouraging him to call on to God for healing and strength.

Indeed, Albright found hope in Pacquiao’s inspirational words.

“He was everything I thought he would be and more. I expected just what I got – a humble man. You can see from his eyes to his soul that he cares about people,” Albright said.

“He doesn’t know about me but he cared about me. I can tell that,” he added.
