MANILA – There’s no stopping Vice Ganda from letting his voice be heard with his new album titled #Trending under Star Music.
The album featured songs that speak about social issues rampant in the country which include gender inequality and corruption, among others.
One of the tracks, Aba Matindi, is addressed to greedy government officials who shamelessly benefit from the public’s trust.
Meanwhile, the song Ibang Hugis, Ibang Kulay, talks about discrimination on gender and biases.
The #Trending album was received by the public well. As a matter of fact, in less than a week, it reached gold record status with more than 7,500 copies sold according to the Philippine Association of the Record Industry, Inc. (PARI).
The album is priced at P199 and available at leading record bars nationwide. Vice’s #Trending may also be bought through iTunes and Mymusicstore.com.ph.
