MANILA — President Benigno Aquino III has declared January 15, 16, and 19, 2015 as special non-working holidays in the National Capital Region in light of Pope Francis’ visit.

Executive Secretary Paquino Ochoa Jr. released Proclamation No. 936, s. 2014, solidifying the scheduled holidays to make way for the Pope’s arrival in Manila on January 15, scheduled events on January 16, and the Pope’s departure on January 19.
