Wizard wannabes may not have the option of attending Hogwarts, Harry Potter’s magical university, but they can save up to go to Poland and attend the next best thing: the Czocha College of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
This Potter-inspired campus has five houses, into which all applicants get sorted: Durentius, Faust, Libussa, Molin and Sendivogius.
Unlike Hogwart’s, which offers three-year courses, wizards graduate from the Czocha College of Witchcraft and Wizardry in just three days. Student can choose from one of several paths: Aurors, Curse Breakers, Healers, Magizoologists and the Unspeakables.
Held at the Czocha Castle in Poland, the 3-day crash course in wizardry was offered for the first time in November of this year. Almost 200 Harry Potter aficionados flocked in from 11 countries across the globe to learn spells, play Quidditch, and participate in some serious live action role playing (larping.)
The course, which costs approximately $345, will be offered again in April 2015.
