MANILA – Actress Andi Eigenmann revealed in an interview with Push the reason thingsa did not work out between her and “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Bret Jackson. Eigenmann and Jackson reportedly dated for two months, but decided to stop seeing each other in September of this year.
“At that time, yes, of course, marami akong pinagdadaanan sa buhay ko nun, relationship-wise or not (At that time, yes, of course, I was going through a lot in my life, relationship-wise or not.),” the 24-year-old actress said.
Because of all that she was going through then – such as the passing away of her father, veteran actor Mark Gil; and her break-up with Jake Ejercito – Andi was just not ready for a new relationship, despite Jackson’s declaration of love for her.
“Ayoko nang nagmamadali (I do not like rushing into things.) I don’t want to jump into something that I know I’m not ready for,” Eigenmann – who has since reunited with Ejercito – said.
Eigenmann and Jackson are still good friends, however, and are currently working on film which will be their first on-screen tandem.
