MANILA — For the third time this week, a Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3 train encountered a glitch, this time on Sunday, however it was quickly repaired by the MRT management.

The glitch happened at around 10 am at the EDSA Buendia Station, according to MRT spokesperson Hernando Cabrera.

Cabrera said in a radio interview that because of the glitch, the defective train had to be pushed.

The management decided to restore only half life operation, from North Avenue to Shaw Boulevard and back at 10:30 am.

However, full line operations at the MRT-3 resumed around 11:30 am.
