Ortilla said MRT officials have yet to appear before Pasay City police while investigators have been provided the names of the two train operators identified as James Duque and Heigin Villa Carlos.
As of press time, police investigators are taking the statements of Duque and Carlos to shed light on what transpired that led to the incident.
He also said that at least six victims, identified as Gina Mendoza, 34; Aileen Santos, 24; May Martinez, 26; a 4-year old boy; Ma. Veronica Veturbo, and Emmanuel Grande Villanueva, 19; had given their statements that will be used for the eventual filing of charges of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple physical injuries and damage to property.
