MANILA — Metro Rail Transit (MRT3) has stopped its express train services scheduled in the afternoon effective Wednesday, according to a post by the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) on its Twitter account.
Morning trips of express trains will continue until May 20 as originally scheduled.
Morning schedule runs from 7-9 a.m. pick up at Quezon Avenue station, followed by GMA-Kamuning station, and lastly at Cubao station.
Express trains during the said peak hours stop at Magallanes, Ayala, and Buendia stations and run alternately with regular trains.
Meanwhile, Thursday’s implementation of express trains for Northbound is cancelled while express trains headed Southbound will be up to May 20, 2014.
