Bishop Charles P. Greco Assembly # 2113 Sir Knights’ swords were blessed at ceremonies held at St. Aidan Church in Scarborough. Rev. Fr. Joseph Sultana, Pastor & Faithful Chaplain, celebrated the Mass for the Knights. SK Bob Atkinson, (acting as the Faithful Master) conducted the ceremonials, Corps Commander SK Rudy Montaniel led the 40  procession of the Sir Knights, Faithful Navigator SK Wilfred Gomez  and SK Deacon Patrick Chang led the prayers.

The Blessing of the Sword ceremonies are conducted in each Assembly at the beginning of each year. The Sir Knights ceremonial sword is a part of the formal attire of the Sir Knights during their Honor Guards for the higher clergies, funerals and Catholic Processions, to express their respect and to show their support in protecting their Catholic Faith.

The Sir Knights and their families were served a light dinner after the Blessing ceremonies. SK Rudy Montaniel, Corps Commander, and Faithful Navigator SK Wilfred Gomez, took this opportunity in  presenting  a number of Awards to the Sir Knights and to the Assembly officials. Congratulations to the hard working Knights and Assembly officials.
