Vhong Navarro is on his way to recovery.

This was announced by his legal counsel, Atty. Dennis Manalo, through an interview on GMA’7’s Startalk on Sunday, Feb.2.

Two weeks after the mauling that happened to him, TV host-actor is indeed in the “recovery phase,” according to the latest medical findings of his doctors—thanks to his healthy lifestyle.

In the same interview, Manalo said: “Nag-uumpisa na pong mag-recover si Vhong sa mga pinsalang natamo. ‘Yung mga test sa kanyang ulo pati sa mata niya, hindi as bad as they were expecting it to be.” (Vhong has started to recover from the injuries he incurred. The tests done on his head and eyes were not that bad as they were expecting it to be).

He added that the plaster on Vhong’s broken nose has already been removed, while his stitches will also be removed as soon as his wounds heal.

Even so, Manalo said that his client is still traumatized—proof of which—he easily gets scared.

So he can recover faster, Navarro was advised not to watch news reports about the incident that happened to him.
