PAGASA: Rains to prevail over most parts of PHL Tuesday

MANILA—Rains will prevail over most parts of the country on Tuesday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The low pressure area (LPA) that PAGASA is monitoring was last eyed at 90 kilometers of Catbalogan, western Samar.

Also, PAGASA said the easterlies currently affect the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao.

Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides is expected over Bicol and southern Quezon.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over eastern Visayas, rest of Calabarzon, Marinduque and Mindoro.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from east to northeast will prevail over southern Luzon and Visayas.

Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
