PAGASA: Northeast monsoon to bring rains over Luzon Thursday

MANILA—The northeast monsoon still affecting northern and central Luzon will continue to bring rains over the island, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday.

In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms may prevail over eastern Visayas and Caraga.

Coudy skies with light rains is expected over Cordillera and Cagayan Valley.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Ilocos region and central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast is expected over northern Luzon and eastern section of central and southern Luzon.

Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast to north with slight to moderate seas, according to PAGASA.
