Bruno Mars may pay tribute to Prince at 2017 Grammys
LOS ANGELES—Singer Bruno Mars is in talks to pay tribute to musician Prince at the Grammy Awards this year.
The 31-year-old singing sensation may perform at the prestigious music awards, accompanied by the members of rock band The Time, reported Billboard.
However, it is unclear that whether the “Uptown Funk” singer and the group will perform songs by Prince or the Time; or whether Mars will sing one of his own numbers separately or as a medley.
It also unknown whether The Time frontman Morris Day will be a part of the set.
Representatives for the Grammys and Mars’ label, Atlantic declined the request for comment.
