Elmo Magalona admits dating Janine Gutierrez

Kapuso actor Elmo Magalona turned 20 recently and he decided to celebrate it with the teenagers of Our Lady of Pentecost Parish.

Aside from acting and dancing, the son of the late rapper Francis M. wishes to empower the youth.
“Instead of using time to celebrate for myself, I get to give back. I used to be insecure and shy, pero ngayon, nakakalas na ako from that.” (but now, I have already stayed away from that.)

In the event organized by GMA Artist Center, Elmo played with the children and rendered a song number for them.  He also joined them in eating merienda and distributed giveaways.

In an interview with the Yahoo! Philippines, he also admitted that he is dating Janine Gutierrez, his leading lady in “Villa Quintana.”

Though they are not yet in a relationship, the actor was proud to  say that Janine is “very special” to her.

“Whenever I look at her, nakakagaan sa loob yung mga ginagawa nya, and how she is. That influenced me to become more positive,” he said.

He shared that they are still getting to know each other well.

“We’re just enjoying it. Hindi pa kami sobrang magkakilala ( we have not yet known each other well) since we only got closer for less than a year,” Elmo said.
