Jed Fernandez, one of the accused in Vhong Navarro’s mauling expressed his intention to be a state witness.
This was revealed by veteran journalist and Pilipino Star Ngayon columnist Tony Calvento in an interview on ABS-CBN’s “Buzz ng Bayan.”
According to Calvento, there are three reasons why Fernandez and his friend want to be a state witness.
First, they want to be discharged from the roster of the accused.
Second, they are so afraid to Cedric; and third, they want protection for their family.
However, Fernandez just backed out. But reports said that another accused has expressed his interest to be a state witness.
