VALENTINE’S SHOW CANADIAN TOUR 2014
Let love songs warm your hearts during True Faith and Wency Cornejo’s Valentine‘s Show Canadian Tour in Toronto 2014 on Feb. 22, Saturday at the Global Kingdom Ministries, at 1250 Markham Rd., Scarborough, Toronto. The serenade will start at 5 p.m.
Truefaith and Wency are coming from Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver as part of their Canadian Tour and will head to Montreal after Toronto.
Filipino band True Faith, one of the most popular and accomplished easy-listening bands in the Philippines, brings a repertoire of romantic hit songs Perfect, Awit Para sa Kanya (Song for Her), one-acoustic guitar ballad Kung OK lang Sa ‘Yo (If it’s Ok with You), Sumasarap ang Gising (Waking Up is Getting Sweeter) and Dedma (I don’t care), among others.
Wency Cornejo, meanwhile, who has launched a solo career after his band days with After Image, will croon lovebirds with popular hits like Habang May Buhay (While There’s Life), Forevermore, Without You, You Made Me Believe, etc.
The song artists are scheduled to hold a press conference, meet and greet with prime ticket holders and sponsors night on Feb. 21. They are also set to visit several Filipino establishments in Toronto. Details on the time and venue will be announced later.
The Canadian tour will continue with Spectacle de la Saint Valentin in Montreal on Feb. 23 at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall, at the Concordia University Loyola Campus. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
This won’t be the first time for True Faith and Cornejo to entertain Filipino-Canadians. Their past performances had been marked with warm welcome and success prompting their return to the Canadian stage. They promise an evening filled with love for their fans, engagement and entertainment.
Concert organizers Pinoy Times Entertainment and Benchmark Management Group are holding an early bird promo survey that will give concert-goers 10% off their ticket purchases until Jan. 31, 2014. Those willing to answer a short survey will automatically get the discounted price on their purchase.
Giving more entertainment value are local Toronto talents LCPD, Uppercase, Inah Patrizia, Partida and Kate Jose and the JDL performers. In Montreal, the added entertainment will be given by bands Addictive Remedy, Frozen Flame and Kontrapelo.
Tickets are at $95 (reserved seats and includes meet and greet with the artists on Feb. 21, Friday), $65 (mid section on first come, first served basis), and $45 (general admission on first come, first served basis).
