Control The Moment improves to 7-0 in winning $685,000 Metro Pace event

CAMPBELLVILLE, Ont. – Control The Moment captured the $685,000 Metro Pace on Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack to remain unbeaten.

Driver Randall Waples of Milton, Ont., took Control the Moment to the lead before the half-mile mark and they controlled the race the rest of the way, registering a three-length win in the richest event for two-year-olds in a career-best time of 1:49.

Control The Moment, the 1/2 favourite, earned his seventh straight victory.

Betting Line was second in the 10-horse field with Voracity taking third.
