Miller vs. Phillies: Braves starter Shelby Miller is 2-0 with a 0.84 ERA in three games vs. the Phillies this year and will pitch the opener of a four-game series in Philadelphia. He faces Aaron Harang (4-11, 4.08 ERA), who is 0-8 with a 6.15 ERA in nine starts since May 14.

Miami farewell: Dan Haren (7-6, 3.51) starts against Washington in what could be his final appearance for the Marlins, who may trade him before Friday’s deadline to make deals without waivers. Haren is 1-1 with a 3.94 ERA in five starts in July.
