Noy deserves high ratings — Coloma

MANILA — President Aquino deserves high ratings from analysts, according  to Communications Secretary Herminion Coloma Jr.

This is despite his admission that not all promises have been fulfilled by Aquino’s administration.

“Sa lahat ng aking natunghayan na mga assessment ng tinaguriang ‘report card’ ng administrasyon napansin ko na ‘yon namang mga nag-a-analisa ang finding nila, karamihan doon sa mga binanggit (na pangako) ay nabigyan na ng pansin,” Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. told Palace reporters on Monday morning.

(Based on the assessment on the administration’s so-called ‘report card,’ I noticed that most of the findings of the analysts tackled issues that have already been addressed.)

“Pero sa lahat nga ng aking nabasa at karamihan sa mga nagkokomentaryo ay nagsasabi na dahil sa napakalaki ng mga problemang hinarap, makatwiran namang bigyan ng mataas na marka ang pamahalaan dahil marami na rin namang nagawa,” he said.

(Most of the commentaries I have read are saying that the government deserves a high grade because of the enormity of the problems it has faced and the substantial number of promises that it has accomplished.)

Aquino was recently given 5.9 for 2014 on a scale of 1 to 10 in the performance scorecard of the multisectoral Movement for Good Governance (MGG).
