MANILA — Felix Nathaniel “Angel” Manalo, brother of the current leader of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) reveals corruption allegations within the INC group.

In a statement on Friday morning, Angel said the anomalies started during the time of his older brother Eduardo or “Eddie” in 2009.

“Binabago nila ang aral eh. Sa panahon po ng pamamahala ng kapatid na Felix Y. Manalo, hanggang sa panahon ng kapatid na Erano Manalo, wala tayong nakikitang anomalya,” he told journalists who gathered outside the Manalo home in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.

(They are changing the doctrines. During the time of brother Felix Y. Manalo and brother Erano Manalo, we have seen no anomalies.)

(But today, there are a lot of anomalies. We love our brother but the problem is the people around him.)

(Iglesia Ni Cristo’s doctrine has been destroyed. Now there are a lot of anomalies. That’s not what  we want.)

He also called on his brother to stop listening to the corrupt officials of the Council.

(We are requesting for him not believe in the Sanggunian because donations to the Iglesia are wasted on unnecessary projects.)

He also questioned the building of the Philippine Arena adding that the funds used could have been channeled to building more churches.

(I’m wondering why the Philippine Arena was created. I just wish that there is still enough fund for creating churches.)

He also urged other INC ministers to make a stand and called on other INC members to join him and stage a vigil outside the Manalo home.

(To all the ministers and workers of Iglesia ni Cristo, I am requesting that we all make a stand.)

(If possible, let’s all come here and stage a vigil to end all this.)
