Julia Barretto denies dating James Reid

MANILA — Julia Barretto denied rumors that she and James Reid are going out.

Reid also denied rumors of her having a coffee date with Barretto.

In an interview with PEP.ph on Sunday, Barretto said that she never gone out with Reid, backing up Reid’s earlier statement.

She also asked everyone to just move on from the issue and focus on each one’s business.

“Sana nakuha na ng bashers, ng mga tao na worried ‘yung peace of mind kasi nasagot na naman niya ‘yung issue. Take it from there. Move on na tayo and focus na tayo sa mga work natin,” she said.

(I hope the bashers, and everyone worried got their peace of mind because we already answered the issue. Take it from there. Let’s move on and focus on our work.)

She also said that she was hurt with the reaction of the bashers on social networking sites.

“Siyempre, ako din nasaktan ako sa bashers, kasi wala namang proof sa mga nasasabing rumors. I always say, kaming mga iniidolo nila, kaming mga iniiwanan ng mga comments sa Instagram, sa Twitter, tao lang kami. Nasasaktan kami sa mga ibinabato nilang salita,” she said.

(Off course, I was hurt with the bashers’ reactions because they don’t have proof with the rumors. I always say, we, their idols, the ones they leave their comments with, are also humans. We got hurt with the words they are throwing against us.)
