Kiko leads Senatorial polls survey

MANILA — Former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan topped the latest Social Weather Stations survey for the most preferred senatorial candidates in the 2016 elections.

Pangilinan who is currently the presidential assistant for food security and agricultural modernization leads the survey with 60 percent.

He was followed by former presidential assistant on rehabilitation and recovery, Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson with 51 percent.

Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III followed in the list with 50 percent and Senate President Franklin Drilon with 42 percent.

They were followed by Senators Ralph Recto and Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos with 41 percent and Taguig City Rep. Lino Edgardo Cayetano with 40 percent.

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima landed on the eighth spot with 33 percent followed by Sen. Sergio Osmeña III and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao with 32 percent.

Former Sen. Richard “Dick” Gordon was also in the list with 31 percent and Sen. Teofisto TG Guingona III with 28 percent.
