The latest poll results were higher than the previous one conducted, which showed 54.7 of the respondents who supposed that corruption was not lessened.

The survey results were released despite the national government’s pronouncements that the country improved in terms of corruption and poverty.

Ibon said its survey based on ‘public opinion’ and that they used multi-stage probability sampling with a margin of error of plus or minus three.

For its part, the government continued and extended its anti-poverty programs. In the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, 4,424,705 households are currently registered from 41,519 towns, 1,483 municipalities and 144 cities.
