MANILA — Senator Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said he has enough experience to run for the highest post in the government.

In an interview with dzRH, Marcos said that he has already climbed the political ladder preparing him for presidency.

He added that his years of experience in the public service allowed him to become prepared to run for the highest post, just like his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos.

Marcos first joined politics as the vice governor of Ilocos Norte. He then became the governor in the said town and was elected as a member of the House of Representatives.

Marcos, who is now a senator said that though he belies that he qualifies for the Presidential post, he has yet to decide on whether to run for president or not.

“At least, I have some  experience,“ he said in Filipino.

“I have ideas about reforms.”

He also added that if there was a mentor who taught him best, that was his father.

“I have not seen anybody as good,” he said in Filipino.
