Filipina tennis star Alex Eala is showing that her personality extends beyond the court, as she continues to explore fashion and develop her own style while competing on the international tennis circuit.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Eala shared how fashion has become another avenue for self-expression, allowing her to experiment with different looks both during tournaments and at public appearances.

The young athlete has incorporated Filipino-inspired details into some of her outfits, including the sampaguita, the country’s national flower, which she has worn as a subtle tribute to her heritage.

Her fashion choices have also brought her to major events, including international fashion shows and red-carpet appearances. Among the notable outfits she has worn was a Filipiniana designed by her uncle, Rhett Eala, at the 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid.

Eala has previously described her personal style as a mix of girly and edgy, while admitting that she is still discovering what works best for her.

She has also expressed interest in working with more Filipino designers, particularly as her growing career gives her opportunities to attend events around the world.

For Eala, fashion and sports share something in common: both offer a way to express individuality and personality. As she continues to make her mark in tennis, she is also finding her identity in the world of fashion.
