At just 10 years old, Rhaki Roj Constantino began his journey in billiards with only ₱10. Now a rising young talent, he hopes to help restore the sport’s popularity in the Philippines and inspire a new generation of Filipino players.

Constantino’s story reflects how a small amount of money and a simple interest in the game can grow into a bigger ambition. With his determination to improve, the young cue artist wants to prove that billiards still has a place in the country’s sporting culture.

The Philippines has a proud history in billiards, producing internationally recognized champions such as Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante. Their achievements helped establish the country as a major force in the sport and inspired countless aspiring players.

But keeping that legacy alive requires more than producing talented athletes. Billiards must also attract younger audiences, create opportunities for emerging players and receive greater attention from the public.

For Constantino, the goal goes beyond personal success. He wants to help bring billiards back into the mainstream, where young Filipinos can see it as a sport worth pursuing and following.

Developing the next generation of cue artists will require sustained support, opportunities to compete and greater exposure for the game. With young talents continuing to emerge, billiards has a chance to reconnect with Filipino fans and build a stronger future.

Constantino’s journey serves as a reminder that the next chapter of Philippine billiards may begin with a young player, a cue stick and a dream to put the sport back in the spotlight.
