MANILA, Philippines — South Korean actor So Ji-sub is returning to Manila after seven years to meet his Filipino fans.

The veteran K-drama star will bring his 2026 Asia Fanmeeting Tour “Soulmate The Timeless” to the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on November 5.

Live Nation Philippines announced the Manila stop on September 1. Ticket prices, seat plans and other details have yet to be released.

The Manila event is part of So Ji-sub’s Asian tour, which begins in Macau on October 24. He will then visit Manila on November 5, Taipei on November 7, Jakarta on November 13 and Bangkok on November 15.

The upcoming event marks So Ji-sub’s first fan meeting in the Philippines since March 2019, when Manila served as the final stop of his “Hello” Asia Tour.

So Ji-sub is one of the early stars of the Korean Wave, or Hallyu. He became widely known for the 2004 drama “Memories of Bali,” also known as “What Happened in Bali,” alongside Ha Ji-won and Zo In-sung.

He later starred in popular dramas such as “The Master’s Sun,” “Oh My Venus,” “My Secret Terrius” and “Doctor Lawyer.”

More recently, So Ji-sub played the lead role in “Agent Kim Reactivated,” an action series about an ordinary-looking father who returns to his former life as a black-ops agent after his daughter goes missing. The series premiered in June and became a major success, reaching No. 1 on Netflix’s global Non-English TV chart, according to SBS.

With his Manila return now confirmed, Filipino fans will have another chance to see the Korean actor in person this November.

Live Nation Philippines said more information about the fan meeting will be announced soon.
