SOUTH KOREA – After the successful release of members THE8 and Vernon’s self-titled album “V8,” SEVENTEEN gears up for another release. This time it’s from their youngest member and main dancer, Dino. He is slated to come out with a solo album titled “吉BOARD” on August 3, much to the delight of fans, but that’s not all. Under this mini album, he is set to make his official debut as his alter ego “Picheolin.”

“Picheolin”, originally an inside joke that was created for the 2022 Carat Land fan meeting, has developed into an alter ego that has made his appearance on their variety show, Going Seventeen, and even on stage at the 38th Golden Disk Awards. For BSS’ Fighting stage, Picheolin covered for Lee Youngji and showed his own unique color that matched well with BSS’ existing theme of joy and whimsy.

Fans from all over the world remain in awe of the concept and continue to speculate on the direction it will take. Furthermore, since SEVENTEEN has been mostly releasing units instead of solos, they are also curious as to how they plan to approach this fresh new take.
