CALIFORNIA, USA – Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo introduced the launch of an all-women benefit music festival called Daisy Chain Fields, which will be held at Great Park in Irvine, California on August 29. The drop dead hitmaker said that it has been her longtime dream and expressed her excitement about finally bringing a festival to life.
The goal of the benefit is to celebrate talented women while simultaneously supporting a meaningful cause, with all of net proceeds intended to charities devoted to advocating for women. She stated that the lineup is filled with people close to her, some she considers as heroes, highlighting the activity’s focus on empowerment.
KATSEYE among performers at the event
The festival will showcase performances from Doechii, Chappell Roan, Mitski, Rachel Chinouriri, and sensational girl group KATSEYE. The group, of course, thanked Rodrigo for including them in the performers, stating that she continues to inspire them in life.
The announcement came amid Rodrigo’s promotion of her third album, while KATSEYE continues preparations for its upcoming world tour. Additionally, special guests such as Sarah McLachlan, Karen O, and Stevie Nicks are expected to make appearances. Beyond the music, fans can enjoy art installations, local vendors, and craft stations.
