Taylor Swift releases “Opalite” music video

NEW YORK CITY, USA — Taylor Swift released the “Opalite” music video on Spotify and Apple Music.

“Opalite” is the third track in “Life of a Showgirl,” an album she released on October 2025. In her Twitter post, she shares that the conception of the idea for the music video actually happened during the promotional period of the aforementioned album.

She guested on the Graham Norton show—this is a UK late night comedy talk show that airs every Friday, where the guests “sit down and chat like it’s a dinner party.”

During her episode, she sat with Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lewis Capaldi, who she said she “admired from afar.” Because of a joke by Gleeson about starring in one of her music videos, she decided that she might as well bring the entire group in for “Opalite”, including the host, Graham Norton, himself!

In her Twitter update, she shares, “I had more fun than I ever imagined—made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices. It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters.”
