MANILA – More Filipino families received housing units under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program following the inauguration of a modern condominium-type housing project in Bocaue, Bulacan, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said Monday.

In a news release, the DHSUD described the inauguration of the Bocaue Bulacan Manor in Barangay Batia as another milestone in the government’s push to deliver safe, accessible and dignified housing, with DHSUD expecting sustained delivery and awarding of housing units this year under the Expanded 4PH.

DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta led the ceremony, together with DHSUD officials and local government representatives.

Around 1,200 individuals are set to benefit from the completed units, while an estimated 12,000 individuals will benefit once all buildings under the project are completed.

Developed as a modern condominium-style community, Bocaue Bulacan Manor will feature 11 mid-rise residential buildings with more than 4,000 housing units.

The project is among the vertical developments under the Expanded 4PH program aimed at widening access to affordable housing nationwide.

Tower 1, consisting of 364 housing units, has been completed and is now ready for turnover to qualified beneficiaries.

During the activity, the Pag-IBIG Fund distributed Notices of Approval to qualified applicants, bringing them closer to homeownership.

Designed as a complete and people-centered community, the project offers various amenities to support quality living, including a swimming pool, basketball court, parks and playgrounds, nursery homes, clubhouse, multipurpose building, parking spaces, commercial areas and a tricycle terminal.

“Katulad ng ibang developments sa ilalim ng Expanded 4PH, kumpleto sa amenities ang proyektong ito. Alinsunod sa utos ng Pangulong Marcos Jr., hindi lang basta matibay na tahanan ang ating binubuo kundi mga inklusibo at sustainable communities (Like other developments under the Expanded 4PH, this project is complete with amenities. In line with the directive of President Marcos Jr., we are not just building sturdy homes but inclusive and sustainable communities),” Aliling said.

The project is open to qualified beneficiaries even if they are not residents of Bocaue. Interested Bocaue residents may coordinate with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office for guidance on the application process.

The local government unit also committed to support the growing community by ensuring access to transportation, food supply and nearby health services to help future residents settle and thrive.

DHSUD Senior Undersecretary Eduardo Robles, along with other DHSUD and Pag-IBIG Fund officials and employees, joined the inauguration and turnover activities.

“Today marks an important milestone, the turnover of these housing units in Bocaue. This moment is more than giving out keys. Ito po ay pagkakaloob ng ligtas, maayos, at dignified na tahanan sa ating mga kababayan (Today marks an important milestone, the turnover of these housing units in Bocaue. This moment is more than giving out keys. It is the provision of safe, decent and dignified homes for our fellow Filipinos),” Robles said.

He said the Expanded 4PH program carries a clear people-centered mission under the directive of President Marcos.

“Sa ilalim ng direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ang Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino o 4PH Program ay may simpleng layunin: to give every Filipino family a home they can truly call their own. More than concrete, roof and walls, these homes are foundations for dignified lives — building stronger families and communities (Under the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino or 4PH Program has a simple goal: to give every Filipino family a home they can truly call their own.
