MANILA — While stressing that she is yet to decide whether to run for President next year or not, Sen. Grace Poe said she would be “comfortable” running with Sen.

Francis “Chiz” Escudero in 2016.

Poe noted that Escudero, who served as a spokesman when her father ran for President in 2004, has been a family friend and that she find it comfortable to run with him next year.

That is if, she decide to run for a higher office.

Poe noted that she is still considering other factors in deciding.

Kumportable ako kay Senator Escudero pero hindi naman lamang yun ang basehan ,” she said.

(I am comfortable with Senator Escudero but that is not the only basis.)

Poe also remained mum when asked about the final team-up that she might consider for the elections.

“As they say, when it comes to courting somebody, let’s hope it is really true love. We cannot really say for sure if it is true or not,” Poe said.

“I really don’t know,” she answered when asked to choose if it would be Poe-Roxas or Poe-Escudero tandem for 2016.

“He and Secretary Mar had both been good to us but it cannot be denied that Senator Chiz and I have been together longer,” she added.

She also remained silent on talks that she will be running as President.

“I would sound so presumptuous if I say that I would be on top (ako ang mauuna) and they would be Vice President,” Poe said.
