PHILIPPINE FESTIVAL MISSISSAUGA KICKS OFF TODAY WITH STAR-STUDDED WEEKEND LINEUP

MISSISSAUGA, ON – Philippine Festival Mississauga kicks off today at Celebration Square, returning with a bigger and more vibrant three-day celebration of Filipino culture. Attendees can expect nonstop music, delicious food, and a variety of cultural showcases highlighting the richness of Filipino heritage.
This year’s festival will feature an exciting lineup of headliners.
On Saturday, September 13, festival-goers can enjoy live performances by Grammy Award-winning producer and artist Jesse Barrera and soulful Filipino-American star Albert Posis. The excitement continues Sunday, September 14, when Asia’s Phoenix, Morissette, takes the main stage, joined by acclaimed Filipino singer Jed Madela, for a powerhouse finale that promises unforgettable performances and electrifying energy.
The Philippine Festival Mississauga has expanded to a three-day format for the first time since 2011, and it is recognized as a finalist for Festival of the Year at the prestigious Marty Awards. Admission is free, and the festival is expected to attract record-breaking crowds, making it one of the largest celebrations of Filipino culture in the GTA.
