SURREY, BC. 14 August 2025 – Philippine Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin reaffirmed the Consulate’s support for promoting Filipino culture and the arts in British Columbia during the Closing Day Reception of Sine Pilipinas 2025 on 10 August 2025 at Centre Stage, Surrey City Hall.

In her remarks, the Consul General commended the INARTE Society (Filipino-Canadian Society for Integrated Arts & Events) for organizing this year’s festival, which ran from August 8 to 10 across various Metro Vancouver venues. She highlighted the important role of Sine Pilipinas 2025 in preserving and sharing the Filipino story—especially with younger generations of Canada-born Filipinos—through the powerful medium of film.
