The Embassy of the Philippines in Canada joins the nation in celebration of the National Disability Rights Week. This year’s theme, “Innovation for Inclusion: Building Inclusive Communities Together,” emphasizes the role of innovation in ensuring that people with disabilities are fully engaged in society.

In accordance with Proclamation No. 597, signed by the President on 13 June 2024, the week of July 17 to 23 is officially recognized each year as National Disability Rights Week. This declaration reflects the Philippines’ commitment to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
