The inspiring life story of “The Voice USA” Season 26 grand champion Sofronio Vasquez takes center stage in the highly anticipated return of “MMK” this Saturday (April 26) on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.

Premiered last Thursday (April 24) on iWantTFC, the first episode, along with its exclusive “unfiltered” director’s cut, stars multi-awarded actor Elijah Canlas as Sofronio, portraying the singing champ’s unwavering determination to follow his passion for music despite his father’s wish for him to become a dentist.

A series of rejections and the sudden passing of his father nearly led him to give up on his dreams, until an opportunity opened for him on The Voice USA Season 26, where he received a standing ovation and a four-chair turn from Michael Bublé, Gwen Stefani, Queen Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg.

Meanwhile, Romnick Sarmenta, who starred in the very first “MMK” episode, “Rubber Shoes” in 1991, returns to the anthology series as Sofronio’s father.

Joining Elijah and Romnick in this heartfelt comeback episode, directed by Theodore Boborol and written by Chie Floresca, are Janice de Belen, Yves Flores, Lui Manansala, Dustine Mayores, and Sean Tristan.

Catch the all-new, inspiring stories brought to you by “MMK,” streaming 48 hours in advance on iWantTFC. iWantTFC is now also available via Chromecast and AirPlay.
