Emerging as 2024’s buzzmakers

“Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11,” big four Fyang Smith, Rain Celmar, Kolette Madelo, and Kai Montinola reflect on their thrilling journey as housemates as they stun in chic winter outfits in Metro’s latest digital cover.

Life seems to be an exciting roller coaster ride for Fyang who started as a content creator on TikTok until she received a life-changing opportunity to be part of “PBB” which led her to captivate the public’s heart.

“So many things have changed. I’ve experienced things I never imagined before—like guesting and stepping into the world of showbiz. It’s overwhelming but incredible,” she said in the Metro cover story.

After charming the audience with her perseverance and positivity, the sporty-girl-next-door Rain is filled with gratitude for her transformative experience in Kuya’s house that helped her discover a newfound sense of self.

“I’d say I believe in myself more now. I’ve also learned to appreciate the little things in life, although I’ve always been grateful,” Rain shared.

From singing, songwriting, and dancing, Kolette’s creative flair was destined for the limelight. Since she stepped back to the outside world, she recognizes how “PBB” changed her life, “My lifestyle now is different. It’s still simple, but not quite like before. Like, when I walk down the street and people ask for photos—it’s surreal.”

Similarly, the 17-year-old Cebuana artist Kai sees these changes as an opportunity to prove herself and reach her dreams in the entertainment world, ‘Now that I’m in showbiz, I look forward to doing something every day. The change has been drastic, but it’s what I asked for, and so far, I’m enjoying every bit of it.”
