MANILA – The country’s top golfers are ready to showcase their skills in the 2024 Party Golfers Ladies Open scheduled on Nov. 13-15 in Taiwan.
The Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) standouts are determined to claim victory in the 54-hole event at the Lily Golf and Country Club in Hsinchu County.
Leading the Philippine campaign is Pauline del Rosario, who will rely on her experience and competitiveness to tackle the challenging par-72 layout.
Del Rosario is familiar with the Taiwan courses as the Epson Tour dominated the 2017 TLPGA and Royal Open at the Royal KuanHsi Golf Club in her pro debut to become the first Filipina to win on the lucrative circuit.
Also setting their sights on the title are seasoned players Princess Superal, Daniella Uy, Florence Bisera, Marvi Monsalve, Mafy Singson, Chanelle Avaricio, Chihiro Ikeda, Mikha Fortuna and Harmie Constantino; talented Laurea and Lia Duque, Jiwon Lee, and amateur sisters Mona and Lisa Sarines.
The Filipinas will be up against defending champion Ling Jie Chen, Thailand’s PK Kongkraphan, Japan’s Yuna Arakawa, and TLPGA Order of Merit No. 2 Yu Ju Chen in the tournament offering NT$5 million in cash, an increase of NT$1 million from last year.
