Police catch most wanted man in QC

MANILA — The police has finally arrested Quezon City’s most wanted criminal charged with at least two murders and several robberies.

Manny Limjoco, 39, a resident of Barangay Socorro in the Cubao area, who was believed to have plotted crimes with his brothers was caught by authorities in his home province in Pangasinan on Saturday.

Limjoco was believed to have led a gang composed f at least five of his brothers who were also involved in robbery incidents in Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) head Chief Supt. Joel Pagdilao said that Limjoco has two arrest warrants for murder charges and another warrant for illegal drugs in Manila.

QCPD records also indicated that he was also involved in the killing of vendor Jojo Badiola, in 2013.

Pagdilao also said that he was also the primary suspect in the killing of Chinese-Filipino businessman Albert Ang in 2011.

Limjoco has since evaded arrest launched by the police since 2013 for Ang’s murder.

According to police records, his brother Marvin helped him escaped.

Marvin allegedly set a dog on the arresting officers led by Insp. Alan de la Cruz. He was then arrested for obstruction of justice and was tagged by a witness for his involvement in the murder of Badiola.

Pagdilao, meanwhile, added that the arrest was significant to police efforts in neutralizing the seven criminal gangs operating in Quezon city.
