Brodie to deliver annual address

Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie will deliver his annual address to the Richmond Chamber of Commerce on February 3. Titled Building Our Future, the Mayor’s address will review the City’s accomplishments from the past year and highlight priorities for 2015 as the new Richmond City Council enters the first year of its four-year term.

The mayor’s address will focus on a number of ongoing city priorities including economic development, sustainability, community safety, facility development and financial management.

It will build upon the mayor’s Inaugural Address, which was delivered in December at the first meeting of the new council.

The mayor will be joined by members of Council for the event.

The annual address will be delivered at the Richmond Chamber of Commerce luncheon on from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Feb. 3, at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre, 7311 Westminster Highway.
