The Calgary-based Filipino artist, Harvey Nichols, added “the Neon Art Light Workshop at the Vivo Recreational Centre is more than just an art event; it’s a vibrant celebration of creativity and communityNeon lights, with their vivid glow and captivating allure, trace a significant part of their history back to Asia in the 1980s, a period that saw cities like Tokyo and Hong Kong illuminate their skylines with these vibrant tubes of light. This historical connection to Asia not only inspires our Neon Art Light Workshop but also deeply influences the concept for our mural.
