GMA Pinoy TV and Kapuso Stars Join Canada Education Fairs Across Manila and Cebu
Sparkle artists, renowned for their talent and charisma, played a pivotal role in amplifying the Canada Education Fair’s reach and impact across Metro Manila and Cebu last January. From captivating performances to advocacy for educational initiatives, their presence contributed significantly to the success of the event, drawing attendees closer to the wealth of opportunities offered by Canadian institutions. Supported by media partner GMA Pinoy TV, in collaboration with the fair organizers, the activities highlighted the Network’s commitment to promoting global educational opportunities for global Pinoys.
At the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City, Ken Chan and Sparkada Cutie Raheel Bhyria from the well-loved and top-rating drama “Abot-Kamay na Pangarap”, alongside New Gen Primera Aktresa Kyline Alcantara and Michael Sager of the upcoming drama “Shining Inheritance,” drew audiences on the first day of the Canada Education Fair. Their performances not only entertained but also inspired attendees to explore educational prospects in Canada. Moreover, the presence of GMA Pinoy TV and Jungo Pinoy booths, offering merchandise items and one-month free subscription vouchers, added vibrancy to the fair, enriching the overall experience for attendees.
The Canada Education Fair continued its momentum at the SMX Sky Hall Seaside in Cebu City, where Sparkle’s esteemed artists Martin del Rosario and Liezel Lopez from the GMA Prime drama “Asawa ng Asawa Ko” graced the event. Their participation not only showcased their diverse talent as artists but also reinforced the significance of offering international education opportunities for global Pinoys in the Visayas region.
One notable highlight of the Cebu leg was the launch of the Bisaya anti-piracy video plugs during the GMA segment.
The videos, filmed to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of piracy while also underscoring the network’s commitment to promoting intellectual property rights and combating piracy across various platforms, are part of the continuing collaboration of the GMA Anti-piracy Committee through GMA International and the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL). These latest informative plugs feature “Abot-Kamay na Pangarap” star Richard Yap and “Queendom’s” Jessica Villarubin. Viewers can catch these videos on GMA Regional TV Cebu and GMA International Channels.
Education opportunities and internship experience in a global setting were featured next at the EduAdvantage Education and Internship Fair in the vibrant cityscape of BGC in the city of Taguig. Organized by Canada Advantage, Inc. The fair provided attendees with more possibilities to explore educational pathways in Canada and served as a valuable platform for information dissemination and engagement with prospective students and professionals.
The participation of GMA International and Sparkle artists in the Canada Education Fair across Metro Manila and Cebu and the EduAdvantage Education and Internship Fair epitomized the Network’s dedication to fostering educational excellence and global opportunities for global Pinoys.
With the rising demand for global learning experiences, GMA Pinoy TV, the Home of Global Pinoys, remains committed to supporting similar initiatives to help empower global Pinoys in their pursuit of academic and career aspirations on the international stage.
